Collection and use of Personal Data

This Privacy Policy concerns the processing (collection, use, disclosure and retention) of personal data received via the website, platform and fora, operated by Aqua2Life. By using the services of and/or registering for an account with Aqua2Life, the User accepts the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use of Aqua2Life and User.

The personal data processed by Aqua2Life is collected directly from the Users. Aqua2Life may collect following personal data in the process of providing the Platform:

Aqua2Life processes the personal data on the legal basis that processing is necessary for the performance of the contract. Aqua2Life needs to be able to fulfil the User agreement and to provide her services.

Aqua2Life furthermore processes the personal data on the legal basis that processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by Aqua2Life. The legitimate interest of Aqua2Life entails to to prevent, detect, mitigate and investigate fraudulent and illegal activities related to the services of Aqua2Life, to share the personal data thereto with the third parties mentioned here above and to improve her website, platform and fora.

Security

Aqua2Life protects the information of User using appropriate technical and organisational security measures to reduce the loss, abuse of unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards Aqua2Life uses are firewalls and physical access controls.

Aqua2Life will not tolerate abuse of its website, platform and fora. If User notices such abuse Aqua2Life kindly requests User to inform Aqua2Life immediately. Once noticed the required take down-action will be executed immediately by Aqua2Life.

Transfer of data and retention of personal data

When retention of the User's personal data is no longer required by law or by obligations of the User or Aqua2life, Aqua2Life will delete the personal data. In most cases, personal data will be deleted upon termination or expiry of the agreement between the Customer and Aqua2Life as stated in the Terms of Use or upon the Customer’s written request.

Exceptionally, Aqua2Life may retain personal data for a longer period if there is a legitimate reason or an obligation to store data for the purposes of criminal investigation or other corresponding reason.

Users’ rights

A User has the right to be informed, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object, the right to data portability and the right not to be subject of on automated individual decision-making or profiling.

A User has the right to access the data on him/her and upon request, obtain a copy of the data. Such request shall include information that is necessary for retrieving the data and shall be made using a authentically signed document or email which can be addressed to Aqua2Life.

Aqua2Life may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Aqua2Life recommends that the Users regularly access the Privacy Policy to obtain knowledge of any possible changes to it. Aqua2Life will provide the date of the Privacy Policy to allow Users to see changes. Aqua2Life will inform Users of possible changes by using reasonable and available channels.
